Jorden Lam

Jorden has had a varied career to date having started as a private practice lawyer with national and global firms. Having decided that she wasn’t suited to the traditional law firm model, she left not knowing what her next step would be. Whilst exploring different opportunities, she founded her own women-led law firm as a passion project and subsequently continued to grow that, whilst moving in-house to explore her curiosity of businesses. Eventually establishing the legal function at a major financial services institution and becoming the General Counsel, Jorden then found her passion for building high-performing, multidisciplinary teams and moved into various senior leadership positions spanning across customer services, operations, and business transformation.

Currently an influential executive leader, passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, and champion for women in senior leadership,  Jorden also holds several non-executive board directorships across multiple sectors.

Formerly named a Young Executive of the Year by the Australian Financial Review, and recipient of the University of Melbourne’s Young Alumni of Distinction Award, Jorden has been routinely recognised for her achievements through multiple business industry accolades.

Jorden created jordenlam.com as a creative space to share her collection of professional experiences, approach to personal branding in the workplace, and how these are balanced with a fulsome lifestyle and juggled with motherhood. Jorden hopes to bring women together to collectively support and empower one another in their pursuit of success, however this may be defined.
